1. The Government of Albania has received a credit from the International Development

Association (IDA) towards the cost of Social Services Delivery Project (SSDP) and

intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for:

“Reconstruction of existing Archive Building for Social Insurance Institute”-

 CW/ICB/01/2009 Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as

defined in the Guidelines: Procurement under IDA Credits (edition of January 1995,

revised January and August 1996, September 1997 and January 1999).
2. The Project Coordination Unit (PCU) – Social Insurance Institute (SII), invites sealed

bids from eligible bidders for the construction of: “Reconstruction of existing Archive

 Building for Social Insurance Institute”.
The Site is: Lundra - Tirana
3. Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased by interested bidders

on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of

a nonrefundable fee of 10,000 Lek (ten thousand Albanian lek),or its equivalent in a

freely-convertible currency. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the

same address, by submitting Bank Statement to the PCU Officer.

4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied

 by security of 45,000 USD or its equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be d

elivered to the address below on or before March 10, 2009, 14:30 hour at which time they

 will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
5. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to the bidders
