Invitation for Bids (IFB) ALBANIA “Housing with Social Purpose Project” F/P 1580(2006) “Construction of municipal social rental housing” CW- 01-KO 1.The Republic of Albania has received a loan from Council of European Development Bank, toward the cost of “Housing with Social Purpose Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan, to payments under the Contract for :Construction of Municipal Social Rental Hausing/ CW- 01-KO 2. The Municipality of Korca, represented by the PIU, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for constraction of : Lot 1 – Block A: It will be a 9-floor building with a service area in ground floor (7 + 2 under roof) with 41 apartments. The building has not underground area available. Central heating system is not foreseen in this construction. The Elevator, is not foreseen in this construction . The object is composed by one section with stairs space, and from six apartments in each section floor and five apartments on the last floor. Also in this Block are foreseen two markest buildings with one foor . Lot 2 - Block B: It will be a 7-floor building with a service area in ground floor (5 + 2 under roof) with 29 apartments. The building has not underground area available. Central heating system is not foreseen in this construction. The Elevator is not foreseen in this construction . The object is composed by one section with stairs space, and from six apartments in each section floor and 5 apartments on floors under roof. Also in this Block is foreseen one market building with 1 foor . Lot 3- Block B’:It will be a 7-floor building with a service area in ground floor (5 + 2 under roof) with 29 apartments. The building has not underground area available. Central heating system is not foreseen in this construction. The Elevator is not foreseen in this construction . The object is composed by one section with stairs space and from six apartments in each section floor and five apartments on floors under roof.
